  • Chester French

    So I think I just had my first groupie experience.
    I went to see Chester French at the 9:30 club and made friends with these 2 girls who had met the band prior to the show and they got to chill with them in their tour bus.  And then during their song Bebe Buell (which is about "groupie love") they pulled the 3 of us on stage.  I got to dance on stage with the band and watch the rest of the show from back/onstage.  Then afterwords I met D.A. and Max and got autographs and just talked to them.  It was really amazing and I wish I could have spent more time with them but I'll take what I can get!

  • Xanga who?

    Whoops!  I did that thing where I get too busy and forget about xanga.  Oh well!
    Just closed Tommy, it was a lot of fun but also very dramatic.  The entire MC theatre department is full of judgmental gossipy bitches and I really can barely take it anymore.  Too bad I'm not really leaving soon enough >.<

    Anyway, on to the next show!  Metamorphoses, I'm playing like 5 roles cause it's like an ensemble show where everyone does a bunch of small stuff.  It's about greek mythology and is pretty freaking sweet.  I hear the director is pretty big in the area, he was just awarded a Helen Hays award I hear, so if anyone knows what that means feel free to explain to be cause I've kinda just been nodding along pretending like I know what the fuck that actually does mean.  His name is Michael Dove and I'm pretty excited to be working with him.  I know it's just school, but it does feel pretty awesome to have been casted in the last 3 shows, getting roles in all of them.  Makes me think, hey....maybe I do have a shot at not starving to death trying to be an actress.  Whee!

    Currently, I have the flu.  I couldn't get my flu shot pre winter because I'm allergic to eggs.  It's been a shit year or so health wise.  Because of this, I can't leave for Arizona in 6 hours like I was planning to because I don't want to kill my grandparents with it.  I guess I'll go next year.

  • JOBS? HELP? PLEASE!

    I'm happy!
    The only thing that would make me happier would be if I wasn't going so broke.  Blah blah money doesn't buy happiness stfu.  Lots of fun things cost money and I'm running oooutt.
    I don't start Mad Science again until like....February?
    Anyway, I've been thinking maybe to hold me over until then I can babysit!  I teach 20 kids at a time and have babysat before so I know I can handle it and I really need the money.  So xanga friends and friends of xanga friends, if any of you know little kids who need to be sat upon by someone, please let me know!!
    I think I'm going to make fliers and post them around my condo complexes.  Good ideaaaa?

  • Apex

    Gay clubs =  a million times more fun than straight clubs.  Everyone was super nice, everything was fun and chill, and no one sketchy tried to attach themselves to my ass, other than my friends, of course.  Not to mention I think I was complimented more tonight than I ever have been in my entire life. 

    After the clubbing and 3:00 AM pizza-ing, we got into the car and noticed a naked man masturbating while looking directly at us.  Exhibitionists are fucking WEIRD, but since he didn't kill us and was just looking to have a good time I guess I can chalk it all up to good fun and strange experiences.

    Tonight may have been the funnest night of my life so far, vodka, fishnet stockings, and new friends = totally awesome night and most definitely worth feeling a bit miserable during my English final at noon.
